Barcelona secured a place in the 2025–26 Copa del Rey semi-finals on Tuesday night by beating Albacete 2-1, with strikes from Lamine Yamal and Ronald Araujo. The victory takes the Catalans into the last four for the 16th time in the past 20 years and keeps them on course to defend the title they won last season.
Hansi Flick’s side will find out who they will play next when the semi-final draw is held on Friday, 6 February at 1pm CET.
The teams remaining in the competition are: Barcelona, Athletic Club, Real Sociedad and either Real Betis or Atlético Madrid (that tie is scheduled for tomorrow).
Both semi-finals will be played over two legs, with the first legs set for 10–12 February and the second legs for 3–5 March. The winners will advance to the final at La Cartuja in Seville in April.
