Ronaldinho Gaúcho will rejoin the Barça Legends side for the exhibition Clásico against Real Madrid Leyendas, scheduled for the night between Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8. The match is set to kick off at 01:00 and will be available on YouTube FCB Premium, with the venue being the Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica in San José.
The former Barcelona star was called up by Albert Ferrer and is expected to be one of the main attractions for local supporters. This appearance marks his first outing with the Barça Legends since his show in Georgia in May 2025.
The Barça Legends roster for the match includes Rivaldo, Carles Puyol, Javier Saviola, Ludovic Giuly, Phillip Cocu, Gaizka Mendieta, Andreu Fontàs, Marc Valiente, Martín Montoya, Samuel Okunowo, Fernando Navarro, Roger Garcia, Roberto Trashorras, Marc Crosas, Noli o, and goalkeepers Vítor Baía and Jesús Angoy.
Real Madrid Leyendas will field former players such as Iker Casillas, Contreras, Núñez, Pepe, Olaya, Agus, Congo, Balboa, Sávio, Iván Campo, Guti, Raúl Bravo, Fernando Sanz, David Barral, Rubén de la Red, Toni Moral and Claude Makélélé in the Costa Rica fixture.
Organizers in San José expect a full house at the Estadio Nacional, which has a capacity of 34,000 spectators.
The Costa Rica clash is the first of four planned Clásicos between the legends of the two clubs over the coming months: a match in Los Angeles on February 22, another in Guadalajara on March 3, and a final scheduled in Santo Domingo on March 14.
